Christine Mason, PhD, is Executive Director of the Center for Educational Improvement and Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Yale University School of Medicine, Program for Recovery and Community Health. Dr. Mason is lead author of four, soon to be five, recent books for educators on children’s trauma, mindfulness, mental health, and visioning for the future of education.

Victoria E. Romero is a former elementary school teacher and went on to coach administrators, directors, and school leadership teams for sustainable school improvement. She is now an educational consultant.
