Janani Pathy works as a secondary school principal at the Bill Hogarth Secondary School in Markham Ontario Canada. She began her career in education 24 years ago as a high school teacher of mathematics and science. Her leadership journey in education included being a department head of science and vice principal before becoming a principal. She also serves as an instructor for the Principal Qualification Courses with the Ontario Principals’ Council to support and build capacity in aspiring teachers who wish to become school leaders.
